Steel buckle or metal seal – which one is more suitable for your needs ?
Metal seal (used along with GETRApack Manual Strapping tool) and steel buckle (used along with H-21 tensioner) are the most common systems of joining the PP band. We are regularly asked which technique is better.

Metal seal is much cheaper option than steel buckle. Averagely steel buckle costs three times as much as metal seal. - METAL SEAL
Courier parcels
If you want to pack parcels delivered to the customer by courier, metal seals are perfect solution. Unlike steel buckles, it adheres to the surface of the package closely. Sharp edge of steel buckle sticks out what may cause damages to other shipments as well as yours. METAL SEAL
Reausability
Unlike metal seals, steel buckles are reusable. STEEL BUCKLE
Strength
Steel buckle is a perfect solution for packing heavy loads. It is a stronger, but it does not mean that metal seal is much weaker. Buckle is suitable for extreme packing, but it is worth mention that high tension limits strength of PP bands. STEEL BUCKLE
Time saving
Metal seal along with GETRApack Manual Strapping Tool is much quicker solution than steel buckle and tensioner. There is no need to twine a band what extends a time of packing. METAL SEAL
